BIOGRAFÍA DE YELLE
Julie
Budet nacio el 17 de julio de 1983, más conocida por su apodo Yelle,
que es el acrónimo de "You enjoy life", es una cantante francesa de
Saint-Brieuc.
Yelle saltó a la fama gracias a una canción que colgó en su MySpace personal en 2006, llamada Short Dick Cuizi, en la que contestaba contra las letras de carácter machista de algunos grupos de rap franceses, en especial TTC y su cantante Cuiziner. La canción se convirtió posteriormente en un single producido profesionalmente por su amigo DJ Grand Marnier y bajo el nombre Je veux te voir se convirtió en un éxito de MySpace acumulando más de 125.000 escuchas.

Narcys
Rendons grâce au complexe d'Œdipe de nous pondre de temps à autre des
névroses créatives et révolutionnaires et remercions généreusement le
père Sigmund d'avoir révélé en chacun de nous cette instance instable
qui peut virer au cauchemar de la psychose et de la violence ou se
cristalliser dans l'acte créateur et amoureux. Dire que la névrose est
fondamentalement révolutionnaire (pour qui veut s'en donner le courage)
il n'y a qu'un pas et Narcys l'a allégrement franchi. Père militaire,
famille nombreuse, la province, le regard des autres, une maman au foyer
qui regarde les nuages pour un monde meilleur, une attirance
fusionnelle pour les garçons comme pour les filles, un refus de grandir,
un imaginaire caparaçonné, un début de délinquance, le lycée, le Bafa,
une formation dans le tourisme, on imagine très bien le chemin parcouru
par ce jeune homme . Clamant haut et fort sa bisexualité, ce chanteur
qui a (dixit) « décidé de faire de sa différence une force » se voit
déjà en haut de l'affiche avec les artistes qu'il admire plus que tout :
Bowie, Mylène Farmer et Placebo.
En y repensant, il tient un peu des trois et considère sa névrose
musicale comme de la « power pop », sous-entendu du glam-rock néo-disco.
Il cartonne déjà pas mal et son blog sur l'incontournable site Myspace a
littéralement explosé en nombre d'écoute et de visites, permettant du
même coup de faire connaître son morceau "NG Nouvelle Génération" et sa
reprise du "I Was Made For Lovin' You" de Kiss (cf. la reprise de Dax Riders). C'est lui qui réussi la meilleure synthèse de lui-même, écho visuel d'un monde de strass et de paillettes :
"Sur le titre NG Nouvelle Génération, la démarche de départ est
viscéralement une démarche rock, avec un réel besoin de vomir et de
cracher ce que j'ai dans les tripes. Pour être plus précis je dirais que
j'appartiens à une famille musicale plutôt Glam, Power-pop, et Rock.
Quand il a fallu me « vendre » on a commencé à me définir comme un
mélange entre Placebo et Mylène Farmer. Dans ce cas, NG Nouvelle
Génération sonne plutôt Mylène Farmer, et les titres à venir
oscilleront comme une aiguille qui bougerait entre les deux".
Quand on repense au mythe de Narcisse et à sa mort, on ne peut qu'espérer que l'aiguille n'aille pas trop dans le rouge…
